Key features of Xiaomi 14 Pro+ model emerge
Xiaomi's eagerly anticipated new flagship smartphone model 14 Pro+ now surfaces with a leak that reveals its key features.
Xiaomi is in the process of developing the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series of flagship smartphones, featuring four distinct models: the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Pro+, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The existence of the Xiaomi 14 Pro+ was initially uncertain, however, recent indications from the well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, confirm the model’s existence, codenamed “Aurora,” inspired by Roman mythology.
The codenames for the standard models, “Houji” for the Xiaomi 14 and “Shennong” for the Xiaomi 14 Pro, were leaked earlier. It's expected that all four flagship models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, delivering significant improvements in power and performance.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 14 Pro+ is set to come equipped with a Leica-branded quad-camera setup, aiming to rival the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This setup is said to provide a maximum zoom range of 120x, mirroring its predecessor. The camera configuration is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

One key feature of MIUI 15 is the Photon Engine, which is designed to enhance system performance and improve power efficiency, promising an 88% increase in the smoothness of third-party applications.
