Reports suggest that OPPO, a Chinese tech giant, is in the process of developing its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Find N3. The main specifications for the device have been leaked online by a tipster known as Digital Chat Station on Weibo, who has previously shared accurate information about this model. The Find N3, expected to launch towards the end of 2023, is said to be larger than its predecessor, the Find N2, but more compact when compared to its competitors. The model is designed to be slim and lightweight.

The Find N3 is projected to feature a high-resolution 2268 x 2440 pixel screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also expected to sport an 8-inch foldable OLED display and a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz cover display. The camera system is likely to include a 50MP OIS triple main camera with a periscope lens that could offer 3x zoom capabilities. Furthermore, the smartphone is anticipated to carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Another notable detail is a suggestion by Max Jambor in a tweet that the OnePlus Open, the first foldable phone by OnePlus, might be rebranded as the OPPO Find N3 for the Chinese market. According to the tipster, this device is likely to launch on August 29 and could be available in Black and Green color options.

However, the upcoming Find N3 will face formidable competition, especially from Samsung, as they are set to launch their foldable Galaxy Z Fold 5 on July 26th. Moreover, Honor has already launched its Magic V2 foldable phone, noted for its ultra-thin profile.
