iQOO Z8 appeared in the AnTuTu test, showcasing its performance
The eagerly anticipated smartphone, Z8 from the Chinese tech company iQOO, now makes its appearance on the AnTuTu platform.
iQOO is set to unveil the anticipated iQOO Z8 and Z8x smartphones in China come September. These devices, bearing the model numbers V2314A and V2312A respectively, have already made their mark on the Geekbench and have been certified by China's 3C. Recently, key details about the iQOO Z8 were confirmed on AnTuTu. An insider from China has also given insight into the specifications of both smartphones.
The AnTuTu benchmark scores for the iQOO Z8 were impressive, with the CPU scoring 286,473, the GPU at 240,807, memory at 221,449, and UX tests at 223,943. These figures bring the device's total score to 972,222. From this listing, we know that the Z8 will feature a 120Hz display, powered by the Dimensity 8200 chip, along with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and running on Android 13.

The upcoming iQOO Z8 and Z8x are both said to come with a 6.64-inch LCD panel, boasting an FHD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Z8 will house the Dimensity 8200 chip, while the Z8x will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. In terms of memory and storage, the Z8 is expected to offer up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, coupled with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The Z8x, however, will sport 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a larger 6,000mAh battery, albeit with a slower 44W fast charging capacity. It's interesting to note that iQOO has chosen to reduce the fast charging capability from the 80W seen in the iQOO Z7x.
As for the cameras, the iQOO Z8 will feature a 16-megapixel front camera, paired with a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Z8x, on the other hand, will come equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both phones will run on OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13, include a 3.5mm audio jack, and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for color options, the iQOO Z8 is rumored to be available in black, blue, and green. In the Chinese market, the Z8 is expected to rival the Dimensity 8200 Ultra-powered Redmi Note 12T Pro.
