The smartphone market in China is witnessing the exciting launch of the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro models. Officially going on sale today, these smartphones have surpassed the initial sales records of their predecessors, the Neo 8 series, by a staggering 200% during the pre-order period.
The iQOO Neo 9, the base model of the series, is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately $321) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. For those seeking higher specs, options extend up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, with the most advanced configuration priced at CNY 3,199 (around $447).
The more premium model, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, begins at CNY 2,999 (about $419) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. There are options for power users too, with the 12GB + 512GB model priced at CNY 3,299 (approximately $461), and the top-end models with 16GB RAM and either 512GB or 1TB storage, priced at CNY 3,599 (around $503) and CNY 3,999 (about $559) respectively. Both devices are available in four elegant color options: Red, White Soul, Nautical Blue, and Fighting Black.
In terms of specifications, both the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro feature a large 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display, boasting a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The Neo 9 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the Neo 9 Pro houses the Dimensity 9300, both paired with options of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
