iQOO is reportedly gearing up for the announcement of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro flagship phones in early November in China, with the vanilla model anticipated to reach the Indian market that same month. There's new buzz surrounding the affordable iQOO Neo 9 series, and recent findings provide us with a glimpse into what we can expect.
The IMEI database listing has identified the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro with the model numbers V2338A and V2339A respectively. Reflecting on the previous year's launch, the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro were unveiled in May 2023, coming equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 Plus chipsets respectively.

Given this pattern, there's a growing speculation that the Neo 9 might house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the Neo 9 Pro could boast the Dimensity 9300. Another anticipated feature of the Neo 9 series is its operating system. It's expected to run on Android 14 coupled with OriginOS 4, at least in its Chinese variants. As for its launch, the devices are slated to debut in the first quarter of 2024. However, it's unclear at this stage if or when the series will be available outside of China.
