iQOO Neo 8's new variant was launched
Another variant has been added to the Neo 8 model developed by Chinese tech giant iQOO.
Earlier this year, iQOO introduced the Neo 8 in China. Originally, the handset came with configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage, which is sufficient for most users. However, recognizing the needs of power users, iQOO has now released a new version of the handset equipped with 16GB RAM and a vast 1TB storage in China.
The updated iQOO Neo 8 with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is available at a price of 3,699 Yuan ($505). For those considering different configurations, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model comes in at 2,499 Yuan ($354). Simultaneously, the 12GB RAM + 516GB storage variant is available for 2,599 Yuan ($396), and another version featuring 16GB RAM + 516GB storage is priced at 3,099 Yuan (~$439).

In terms of design and features, the iQOO Neo 8 boasts a slender build with a rectangular rear camera setup and a centrally positioned punch-hole display cutout. The device presents a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a swift 144Hz refresh rate. Users will also appreciate the in-screen fingerprint scanner, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, HDR10 compatibility, and the inclusion of Vivo’s V1+ image chip.
Photography enthusiasts will find the 50MP OIS-supported primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor impressive. Additionally, the device features a 16MP front camera for selfies. Performance-wise, the iQOO Neo 8 is driven by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and includes a VC liquid cooling system for optimized heat management. The device is backed by a sturdy 5,000mAh battery, which supports rapid 120W charging. On the software side, the iQOO Neo 8 operates on Android 13 complemented by OriginOS 3.
