iQOO 12 series design has been officially revealed
With the official introduction date of the iQOO 12 series approaching, the Chinese company unveiled the design of this device.
iQOO is gearing up to launch its anticipated iQOO 12 series smartphones in China on November 7. This new lineup is expected to feature standard and pro models, succeeding the previous year's iQOO 11 series. Giving fans a glimpse into what to expect, the Vivo sub-brand has unveiled some teasers showcasing the design of these upcoming devices. A standout feature is the integration of the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
From the official teasers, the design of the iQOO 12 Pro has been consistent with previously leaked renders. It showcases a pristine White color variant with a probable glass back. A distinct feature is its square camera module with curved corners, positioned on the top left. This module consists of two sensors, a periscope unit, and a label indicating '100x Tele Lens'. Additionally, there's an LED flash along with inscriptions that might detail the aperture and focal length, suggesting 1.68-2.57/ 15-70 ASPH.

The iQOO branding is also present, accentuated with BMW’s signature blue, black, and red stripes on the lower right of the back panel. Observations also revealed a USB-C port and SIM tray slot at the device's base, emphasizing its sleek design. Another teaser highlights the iQOO 12 featuring a leather-textured Red variant. Its camera module design mirrors that of the Pro model, but the device sports a more boxy look.
Relying on leaked information and speculations, the iQOO 12 is expected to feature a 1.5K flat AMOLED screen, while the Pro model might boast a 2K curved AMOLED display. Both are predicted to offer a 144Hz refresh rate and a 50MP OIS main camera. The charging capabilities could be impressive with a potential 120W wired charging. Notably, while the standard model might be equipped with a telephoto lens, the Pro variant could feature a periscope unit. Battery capacities are rumored to be 5,000mAh for the iQOO 12 and 5,100mAh for the 12 Pro.
