iQOO 12 global version appears on Bluetooth SIG
The global version of the upcoming iQOO 12 has made waves in the tech world with its Bluetooth SIG certification.
Following its debut in China, the iQOO 12 series, which includes the standard iQOO 12 and the iQOO 12 Pro, is now poised for a global launch. The series is first set to be available in India, with a launch date scheduled for December 12. This global expansion is supported by multiple public certifications, including Malaysia’s SIRIM and the Bluetooth SIG, where the smartphone recently made an appearance.
The Bluetooth SIG listing not only confirms the imminent global launch but also reveals the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.4 in the device. While most specifications of the iQOO 12 series are already public, these certifications serve as further confirmation of the series' worldwide release.
In terms of specifications, the iQOO 12 series boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The display offers 2160PWM DC dimming and an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits. The series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and comes pre-installed with Android 14, making it the first smartphone in India to do so.

Camera-wise, the series features a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x Zoom. Additionally, there is a 16MP front sensor for selfies.
The iQOO 12 series comes in various configurations, offering 12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options. The series is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, while the Pro version includes a 5100 mAh battery with 50W wireless charging capability.
Available in three color options: Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version, the iQOO 12 series launched at a starting price of 3,999 yuan (566$) in China, approximately Rs 45,000 (540$). The pricing details for India are eagerly awaited, as they will reveal how the series is positioned in the competitive Indian market.
