iQOO, the Vivo sub-brand, has added another feather to its cap with the launch of a new device in the iQOO 11 series. The new addition is the iQOO 11S, bridging the gap between the iQOO 11 5G and iQOO 11 Pro 5G. The newest entrant shares many similar specifications with its two siblings, broadening the choices for tech enthusiasts.

The iQOO 11S presents a sleek design with a flat E4 AMOLED screen measuring 6.78 inches. The screen features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, a 2K resolution, a high refresh rate of 144Hz, and an impressive peak brightness of 1,800 nits. For added security, a fingerprint scanner is conveniently integrated within the display. In terms of design, the smartphone mirrors its counterpart, the iQOO 11 Duo, showcasing a rectangular camera module on the back panel.

The photographic capabilities of the iQOO 11S are impressive, featuring a triple rear camera setup. This consists of a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony IMX866 VCS sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP portrait unit. A 16MP selfie camera at the front further enhances the device's photography options. Additionally, the device includes Vivo's proprietary V2 chip.

Powering the iQOO 11S is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device includes a VC cooling system to efficiently manage heat. A 4,700mAh battery powers the smartphone, supported by a 200W fast charging capability and compatibility with the UFCS fast-charging protocol. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest Android 13 OS and is equipped with an X-Axis Linear Motor, WiFi-7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and 5G connectivity.

The pricing for the iQOO 11S begins at CNY 3,799 ($526) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Higher-end models with 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations come with price tags of CNY 4099 ($567) and CNY 4,399 ($609), respectively. The top-tier 16GB + 1TB configuration is priced at CNY 4,799 ($665). Pre-booking for the device has begun, with sales slated to commence from July 10. The smartphone is available in three distinctive colors – Sky Blue, Black, and a special BMW Legend Edition.
