iPhone 15 Pro now faces screen burn-in issues
The iPhone 15 Pro, launched by American tech giant Apple last month, continues to add to its list of frustrating issues.
Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the tech giant's most recent offerings, have encountered yet another hurdle. Some users are raising concerns about screen burn-in issues on these devices. For those unfamiliar, screen burn-in refers to the persistent discoloration on specific parts of a display due to prolonged display of a static image. This problem primarily affects OLED displays, the type incorporated in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Various users have taken to platforms like Reddit and Apple’s support forum to voice their concerns. They've shared images of their affected devices showing remnants of user interface elements, akin to ghostly imprints. For instance, one individual highlighted a screen burn-in of the home screen and a YouTube video thumbnail, even though they claim to use their phone for standard activities like web browsing, checking emails, and viewing videos. Another user displayed their phone with a faint outline of a keyboard permanently marked on their screen.
However, it's essential to note that these reported instances are few and far between, implying that this issue is not widespread. For those who do come across this problem, the best course of action is to promptly reach out to Apple support or schedule a visit to an Apple Store Genius Bar. Here, Apple's specialists will diagnose the issue, and if it turns out to be a hardware defect, the device should be covered under Apple's standard one-year limited warranty available in the US.
