Recently introduced by Apple, the iPhone 15 series keeps making headlines with fresh information and emerging details.
The renowned smartphone benchmarking tool, AnTuTu, recently unveiled its score for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it doesn't disappoint. The flagship from Apple accrued a commendable 1,641,883 points, setting it apart from any of its predecessors. However, its supremacy is narrowly challenged by competitors like the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which amassed 1,733,703 points, and the iQOO 11S with a close 1,645,393 points.
The benchmark was performed on the iPhone 15 Pro Max variant boasting 8GB RAM and a vast 1TB storage, indicating it's the top-tier model in the lineup. Further enhancing its performance is the underlying iOS 17.
Delving deeper into the scores, the iPhone 15 Pro Max garnered 392,643 points for the CPU test and a staggering 597,734 points in the GPU counterpart. When juxtaposed against its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which obtained 358,964 and 466,281 points in the CPU and GPU tests respectively, the advancements are palpable.

Not to be overshadowed, its memory performance was exemplary, registering a score of 306,164, a notable surge from the iPhone 14 Pro Max's 233,925.
Under the hood, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is energized by the revolutionary A17 Pro chipset, marking Apple's debut in the 'Pro chipset' arena for iPhones. Notably, it's also the inaugural chip to leverage TSMC’s avant-garde 3nm process node in a commercial smartphone setting. The A17 Pro is designed with a 6-core CPU, comprising 2 high-performance cores coupled with 4 dedicated to energy efficiency. Both the CPU microarchitecture and the GPU have undergone significant enhancements, the latter now boasting a novel architecture with an increased core count.
