iPhone 15 Pro Max outpaces previous year's 14 Pro Max sales
Sales of the iPhone 15 Pro Max have exceeded those of the previous year's iPhone 14 Pro Max, marking a remarkable achievement for Apple's latest flagship smartphone.
Apple enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the launch of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max this coming Friday, September 22nd, alongside the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Interestingly, reports suggest that demand for the Pro Max variant is exceeding that of its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The insight comes from well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared that the demand for the iPhone 14 Pro Max was notably higher than the previous year's iPhone 14 Pro. However, in a curious twist, the iPhone 15 Pro appears to have not generated as much interest as its predecessor. Here's what Kuo had to say:
"While demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is robust, as previously expected, outpacing last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max, demand for the two standard iPhone 15 models is roughly on par with last year."
Notably, the wait times for the iPhone 15 Pro Max are considerably longer compared to other models. This is not solely due to heightened demand but is also attributed to a delayed mass production schedule and more prominent production challenges specific to this model.
The Pro Max, occupying the top-tier position in Apple's lineup, comes with a premium price tag starting at $1,199 and reaching $1,599 for the 1TB variant. It is anticipated that Apple will reap substantial profits from this flagship device.
Apple is currently quoting shipping times of 6 to 7 weeks for online orders. However, for those eager to get their hands on the device, there might still be some available for pickup on the launch day, which is this Friday, September 22nd.
