Apple has been offering quite some useful updates for its devices recently and now we have one more to come. When it arrives next week, Apple's new iOS 16.3 software update will include important fixes. It will fix the lock screen and its widget as well as temporarily remove the horizontal lines that were on the screen. Physical security keys and the brand-new HomePod of the second generation will also be supported.

Some users reported various problems about their 14 models and now Apple is about to release a fix for the horizontal lines on some iPhone 14 Pro Max phones that appeared during wake-ups or restarts. The iOS 16.3 Beta revealed that the upcoming update will also fix a bug that caused the wallpaper on the lock screen to occasionally appear black. After 16.2, the Home Lock Screen widget was removed, but it is now back and will accurately display the status.

Siri did not respond appropriately to music requests, and the upcoming update is anticipated to address this issue in both CarPlay and smartphones.

The new iOS is expected to be available on Tuesday or Wednesday, when Apple will also release macOS Ventura 13.2 for MacBooks.
