Significant developments are happening regarding the new models of Reno, one of Oppo's best-selling series.
Oppo is reportedly developing the Reno 11 series, a new addition to its smartphone lineup, specifically for the Chinese market. In anticipation of the launch, some notable Chinese leakers have shared official-looking renders of the Reno 11 series. Additionally, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has disclosed several key details about the display, chipset, and camera specifications of the Reno 11 and 11 Pro models.
The leaked renders of the Reno 11 series have been making rounds on Weibo, showcasing a design that remains faithful to the design language of the previous Reno 10 series. The most notable feature visible in these renders is the elliptical camera module on the Reno 11, which includes two camera rings. The primary ring houses two camera sensors, while the third lens is situated in the second ring.

Regarding the specifications, Digital Chat Station reveals that the Reno 11 Pro is expected to feature a curved-edge OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which is the same as the one used in the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+. On the other hand, the Reno 11 is likely to be equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chipset, similar to the chipset in the Oppo Reno 10 Pro (China variant). While specifics about the Reno 11’s display were not mentioned, it is anticipated that it may also sport a curved-edge OLED panel, possibly with Full HD+ resolution.
The camera setup for both the Reno 11 and 11 Pro models is expected to include a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. Both phones are also said to feature a plastic middle frame, distinguishing them from higher-end models with metallic frames.
Interestingly, the Reno 10 series' Pro+ variant was the only model to feature a periscope telephoto camera. According to Digital Chat Station, there will be no Reno 11 Pro+ variant this time, meaning that none of the models in the Reno 11 series will have a periscope telephoto camera. This information hints at Oppo's strategy for differentiating the models within the series.
