The first details of Huawei P60 and Huawei Mate 60 series have been unveiled.

Huawei Mate 50 launched just a few months ago whereas the P50 series launched last year. The details for successors that is Huawei P60 and and Huawei Mate 60 series began to appear. A famous tipster unveiled the chipset details for the upcoming Huawei smartphones.

Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series could feature Snapdragon 8 Gen SoC series

According to tipster, The Huawei P60 and Mate 60 series will be powered by Qualcomm's processors. The P60 series will be assisted by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4G). This series of smartphones may launch in the first quarter of next year as it will go on mass production. The Mate 60 family will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4G), on the other hand.

The tipster claimed that the Mate 60 series will have the model number SM8525 and will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but will not be available to users anytime soon.

Moreover, it is stated that the Huawei P60 will be powered with a variable aperture lens introduced in the Mate 50 series. We can see a 64 MP telephoto sensor in its optic system. On the front of this device, there can be two selfie cameras that can be attached to a pill-shaped hole.

According to the leaker, we will also see twin circular camera modules on the back of P60. One of these two modules will have 2 sensors and these sensors will be large. The other module will house an LED flash and an unknown camera.
