Huawei recently unveiled the new Nova Y71 for global markets. In the meantime, it seems the company has another addition in the works for the Nova Y series, dubbed the Nova Y62 Plus. This upcoming device, seemingly on the brink of launching, has generated considerable interest.
The imminent Nova Y62 Plus from the Chinese tech giant was detected on the GCF certification website, identified by the model number EVE-LX9. While the listing didn't disclose any specific details about this smartphone, it sparked speculation that it could be a rebranded version of an existing Nova series model. A recent report suggests that the device may be a revamped version of the Nova Y61, providing us with potential clues about its specifications.
Huawei Nova Y62 Plus appeared in the certification process
As a reference, the Huawei Nova Y61 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It's equipped with an octa-core processor, complemented by up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Y61's powerhouse is a sizeable 5,000mAh battery pack. On the front, it hosts a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and the rear spotlights a dual camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and two additional 2-megapixel sensors.
