Huawei is poised to unveil the Nova 12 series in China on December 26, with the spotlight on the Nova 12 Ultra smartphone. Reports have hinted at an under-clocked Kirin 9000s chip, similar to the one in the Mate 60 series, potentially enabling two-way satellite communication.
A recent leak on Weibo has provided insights into the Nova 12 Pro, showcasing its front design and confirming several specifications. The Nova 12 Pro appears to have a pill-shaped cutout for a dual selfie camera setup, akin to the Nova 12 Ultra. Its curved-edge OLED screen boasts a 2776 x 1224 pixel resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. The model number ADA-AL00 is mentioned in the leak.

Intriguingly, the Nova 12 Pro is reported to be powered by the yet-to-be-released Kirin 8000 chipset. The leak also reveals 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a Hi1105 NFC chip in the device.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has contributed further details, indicating that the Nova 12 Pro will have a 6.78-inch display. The Kirin 8000's performance is expected to be slightly below that of the chip in the Ultra variant. The Pro model might share other specifications with the Ultra, such as a 60-megapixel main plus 8-megapixel portrait dual selfie camera system, a 50-megapixel main rear camera with a variable f/1.4–f/4.0 aperture, a 4,600mAh battery with 100W charging, and 5G support. Meanwhile, the Nova 12 and Nova 12 Lite (Vitality Edition) are rumored to feature a 4G Snapdragon chip.
