Huawei Mate 60 will appear once more with its potent camera
One of the significant names in the smartphone world, Huawei, will accommodate a powerful camera setup in its new Mate 60 model.
Huawei, a global powerhouse in tech, is set to unveil its next-generation flagship series in the coming months. The leaks suggest the arrival of several notable features, one of which includes the Mate 60's adoption of an Apple-inspired Dynamic Island cutout on the front. The upcoming series is already the subject of numerous speculations, with the camera specifications of the standard Mate 60 recently revealed by a well-known tipster.
According to the tipster, known as Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Mate 60 is slated to feature a rear triple camera setup, dominated by a 50MP primary sensor. Additional components might consist of an ultrawide lens and a telephoto shooter. The predecessor, Mate 50, housed a 50MP main camera, a 12MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultrawide sensor.

While there is a chance that the Mate 60 might carry forward the same camera configuration as its predecessor, Huawei is potentially planning to implement some upgrades through its XMAGE technology. The tipster also hints at the likelihood of the Mate 60 sharing similar size and dimensions with the Mate 50, which measures 161.5mm in height, 76.1mm in width, and 7.98mm in depth, and weighs in at 206 grams.
The Huawei Mate 60 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, flanked by narrow bezels and centered with a punch hole. The rumors also hint at an innovative front-facing design for the Mate 60, featuring a pill-shaped cutout at the top of the screen, accommodating the selfie camera and a 3D depth sensor. Huawei also plans to implement its version of the Dynamic Island software feature, which optimizes the cutout area for notifications and app design.
