In terms of software enhancements, Apple initially suspected the overheating to be due to third-party applications, such as Instagram and Uber, combined with certain optimizations within iOS 17. They've since addressed these concerns with the release of the iOS 17.0.3 update. As per the release notes, this update aims to rectify the overheating problem, specifically targeting the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
Furthermore, Apple has clarified that third-party apps are primarily responsible for the device overheating. They confirmed that the phone's titanium build is not a contributing factor, and the A17 Pro chipset functions as intended without requiring modifications.
