In the meantime, the launch of the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition in China is just around the corner. This edition is expected to feature a design similar to the regular Honor X40 GT, including a distinctive central ring design on the back and strips on the rear panel.
In terms of specifications, the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition is anticipated to offer two memory options: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. It's likely to come with a 6.81-inch 1080P LCD screen boasting a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, the device is set to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, LPDDR5 memory, and UFS 3.1 storage. It's also expected to sport a 50MP triple-camera system on the rear and house a 4800mAh battery with rapid 66W fast charging capabilities.
