Honor Tablet 9 certified with 35W fast charging support
The Honor Tablet 9, certified with 3C, stands out with its 35W fast charging support, potentially giving it an edge over competitors.
Honor is reportedly on the verge of unveiling a new addition to its tablet line-up, speculated to be the Honor Tablet 9. This buzz originates from China's 3C certification database, where two new Honor tablet models, identified as HEY-W09 and W19, have been listed. These listings are widely believed to represent the upcoming Honor Tablet 9.
Both models, as per the 3C certification, are expected to support 35W fast charging. Although the listing remains sparse on details, there are rumors, particularly from the tipster Wangzhai on Weibo, suggesting that the Honor Tablet 9 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. This processor, launched in 2022, is notable for its 4nm manufacturing process, offering a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz and featuring an Adreno 710 GPU.

Wangzhai has also hinted at the Honor Tablet 9 having a large battery capacity, although no specific details were provided. For context, the predecessor, the Honor Tablet 8 launched in July 2022, came with a 7,250mAh battery. Given this, the Honor Tablet 9 is expected to maintain or exceed this capacity.
The expectation for the Honor Tablet 9 to support 35W fast charging is a noteworthy upgrade, considering the Honor Tablet 8 supported 22.5W fast charging. The Honor Tablet 8 was known for its 12-inch 2K LCD screen, a 10:6 aspect ratio, over 1 billion colors, and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, all powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor.
Considering that the Honor Tablet 8 was launched in July 2022, the market is ripe for a new model, and the Honor Tablet 9 seems poised to fill this gap. More details about this new tablet are anticipated to emerge in the coming weeks, offering a clearer picture of what Honor has in store for its latest device.
