Today, Honor is introducing its 90 GT smartphone in China, along with the Honor Pad 9. This launch marks a significant step for the company, which is expected to soon turn its focus to the upcoming Honor Magic 6 series. Anticipation is building for the Magic 6 series, with rumors pointing towards an early 2024 release in China. As this date draws near, more details about the potential features of the series are emerging online.
Recently, a Weibo user shared what appears to be a real-life image of the Magic 6 Pro. This image reveals a striking triple-camera setup on the back of the device, arranged in a unique triangle formation. The top camera, notably featuring a “100x” zoom inscription, is believed to be a periscope lens. Additionally, a render provided by the same source offers a clearer view of the phone's design.

The Magic 6 Pro's camera system is expected to be highly advanced. Speculations suggest that the two other sensors below the periscope lens could be a main and an ultrawide lens. There are rumors of a 1-inch Omnivision OV50K sensor for the main camera and a remarkable 160MP for the periscope telephoto lens. The device is also anticipated to include a 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) facial recognition feature, housed within a pill-shaped cutout on the front.
Powering the Magic 6 Pro will likely be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and the device might even boast satellite connectivity – a feature for which Honor has recently filed a trademark.
Beyond the Pro model, the Magic 6 series is rumored to include a standard variant and a Porsche Design model. However, previous renders of these models now seem less accurate in light of the new leak, which presents a considerably different design for the Magic 6 Pro.
