Honor is making strides in the smartphone industry with its upcoming Magic 6 series, set to make its debut in January 2024. The series is expected to feature at least four models, including the Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and Magic 6 Ultimate. Recently, the standard Magic 6 model, codenamed "Bvlgari" and carrying the model number BVL-AN00, has received approval from the 3C authority in China, signaling its readiness for launch. The Pro and Ultimate models are rumored to have model numbers BVL-AN16 and BVL-AN20, respectively.

The 3C certification for the Magic 6 reveals that the device will be equipped with an HN-110600C00 / HW-110600C02 power brick, supporting up to 66W fast charging.

This feature aligns with the charging capabilities of its predecessors in the Magic 5 series, which also included 66W charging for the standard model and 50W wireless charging for the Pro and Ultimate versions. It will be interesting to see if the Magic 6 Pro and Magic 6 Ultimate will continue to offer similar wired and wireless charging options.

Amidst the buzz around its launch, rumors suggest that the Magic 6 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A notable highlight is the expected inclusion of a one-inch OmniVision OV50K primary camera, which positions the Magic 6 series to compete with major players like the OPPO Find X7 Pro, the Vivo X100 Pro+ (or Ultra), and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. These competitors are anticipated to feature the one-inch LYT-900 Sony camera sensor. Additionally, the Magic 6 is expected to feature a centrally positioned pill-shaped cutout on its screen and offer support for satellite communication, further enhancing its appeal in the high-end smartphone market.
