Honor Magic 5 Lite showed up online: Snapdragon 695 chipset and more
Honor has proven itself to be a successful company after if became an independent brand. In that sense now a new device is coming up.
Honor Magic 4 series debuted in February and everyone loved them. Now it looks like the company will offer new series soon. Some rumors suggest that the more expensive Magic 5 model will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. As usual before the launch we have more news about the deviced. According to the Google Play Console, there will also be a more affordable "lite" model that will make use of a Snapdragon 695 chip with less power.
Although it appears to be a different model of the Snapdragon 695, the Honor Magic 4 Lite also used the same one. Instead of the standard 1.7GHz, the six little cores derived from the Cortex-A55 operate at 1.8GHz. Similar to the original chip, the two big cores based on the Cortex-A78 operate at 2.2 GHz.

By the way, Honor has used this chipset before; the Honor X9 5G's tiny cores are also clocked at 1.8GHz. Aside from that, the X9 and Magic4 Lite are nearly identical, even though they were released a week apart.
According to the GPC data, the Magic5 Lite has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12. Additionally, it features a FHD+ display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels, 19:9). The dimensions are currently unknown, but the 2022 model had a large LCD of 6.81 inches, so this one should be similar. The GPC's image suggests that the new model will have a curved display, in contrast to the Magic4 Lite's flat display. The launch of the Honor Magic5 series shouldn't be too far off, so we should start getting more information soon.
