Honor has been marking its presence with a stream of new releases this month. The unveiling of the Honor 90 and Honor Pad X9 in Europe, followed by the Honor X50 in China, indicates a busy schedule. The company has also scheduled the launch of the Magic V2 alongside several other intriguing products in its home country next week. In the meantime, another smartphone, the Honor X6a, has made its appearance online on the TDRA website, suggesting that it could soon join the international market as the budget model in the series.

The X series by Honor, packed with value-for-money mid-range models like the recent Honor X50, also offers an array of decent budget options. The series already includes models such as the Honor X7a and Honor X8a, which are expected to welcome a new addition soon - the Honor X6a. The latter has been sighted on the TDRA website with the model WDY-LX2, suggesting that a global launch may be on the horizon.

Interestingly, Honor's naming convention seems to deviate from the usual practices of most brands. Typically, phone manufacturers follow a sequential naming system where each new model bears a higher number than its predecessor. However, in Honor's case, this pattern is reversed, as evidenced by the launch of the Honor X7a and the forthcoming Honor X6a.

As of now, the specifics of the Honor X6a remain undisclosed. This budget smartphone might follow in the footsteps of the Honor X7a, which is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G37 processor. The X7a also features a 6.75-inch TFT LCD display and a 50MP primary camera on the rear. The device is powered by either a 5330 mAh or 6000 mAh battery, depending on the region.
