Honor is expected to hold a flagship product event soon, including Honor 80 and Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphone. Before the launch, a popular leaker stated one of the flagship model in the Honor 80 series will be equipped with a 160-megapixel camera, which does not exist in any smartphone currently. A flagship model in the Honor 80 series will feature 160-megapixel main camera
Camera specifications of the upcoming Honor 80 series have been leaked by reputable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. He claims that the phones will feature a significant camera upgrade compared to previous Honor 70 series.
According to the leaks, one of the flagship model in Honor 80 series that is predicted to be Honor 80 Pro or Honor 80 Pro+ will feature a primary camera that is 160-megapixels. As of today, there is no smartphone with such a camera on the smartphone market. Therefore, the Honor 80 series will be first in this class.
In addition, the series will feature dual 50MP front cameras for the excellent quality of selfies. The name of the sensors are not mentioned, however. Lastly, DCS claimed that Qualcomm's flagship chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the series.
Honor 80 series is expected to make its debut on November, 23. Along with this series, a new foldable from Honor, known as Magic V2 will be introduced as well.
