Honor 80 GT, 80 Pro surface online, expected to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and more
Honor 80 GT and Honor 80 Pro flat display variants have surfaced online ahead of launch.
Honor recently came up with the Honor 80, Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 SE, described as an affordable flagship series. Moreover, now the Honor 80 GT and the Honor 80 Pro without a curved display will launch soon as tipped by the leaks.
Honor 80 GT and Honor 80 Pro spotted on 3C listing, hints at imminent launch
The model number given to the Honor 80 GT in 3C listing is AGT-AN00. The flat-screen variant of the Honor 80 Pro has model number ANB-AN00. It seems that the ANB-AN00 will have no difference from the Honor 80 Pro in terms of technical features, except for the screen structure.
A different version of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which is stated to be included in the Honor 80 GT, will power this phone. This version will be slightly slower in overclocking than the original Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. This also applies to the flat-screen variant of the Honor 80 Pro.
The display of the Honor 80 GT can be equipped with OLED technology that hosts a lower resolution than the Honor 80 Pro and a 144Hz screen refresh rate. The new variant of the Honor 80 Pro will have an OLED panel that offers 1.5K resolution.
It is thought that the Honor 80 GT will be launched with two different RAM options that could be 8GB and 12GB RAM. It was claimed that Honor 80 GT is expected to be a game-oriented smartphone and will launch with the Honor 80 Pro without a curved screen on December 26.
