Highly anticipated Xiaomi smartphone is coming to global markets with hype
Xiaomi 13T Pro has reportedly visited IMEI database. This hints that the smartphone will arrive at global markets.
The top model of the Xiaomi 13 series, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, will be officially unveiled in April. The 13 Ultra, which will also be sold outside of China, will come with a unique camera system that is the first of its kind in the world.
Following this model, Xiaomiui, a Xiaomi-focused website, has discovered an intriguing entry in the IMEI database that indicates the imminent release of two new smartphones: the Xiaomi 13T Pro and its Chinese version, the Redmi K60 Ultra. The database contains details of the model numbers, suggesting that the launch of these devices is not far away.
Xiaomi 13T Pro makes appearance in IMEI database, signaling global launch
According to the IMEI database, the model numbers for the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Redmi K60 Ultra are 23078PND5G and 23078RKD5C, respectively. The first four digits of the serial numbers, "2307," indicate that these devices are likely to be released in July 2023.
Moreover, the letter "G" is denoting the global variant code of the Xiaomi 13T Pro whereas "C" letter indicating Chinese variant. Therefore, we can assume that the 13T Pro will be a re-branded version of K60 Ultra.
Xiaomi 13T Pro (or Redmi k60 Ultra) will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200
The report also reveals that the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Redmi K60 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, which is considered one of the most powerful and energy-efficient chipsets on the market. This will be the first time that a Xiaomi smartphone will feature this processor.
Given the high-end specifications, it will be interesting to see how Xiaomi prices these devices, especially in comparison to other flagship smartphones.
