Google Pixel roadmap until 2025 is revealed
The Pixel 7a and Pixel 8 series have already been the subject of leaks; however, Android Authority has just released a report that reveals every smartphone that Google intends to launch between 2023 and 2025. Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 7a (codename "lynx") and Pixel Fold (codename "felix") at Google I/O in April or May 2023. The Pixel 7a is a highly anticipated mid-range smartphone that is rumored to address issues with the Pixel 6a (90 hz display instead of 60 hz). In MKBHD's blind camera test, the Pixel 6a smartphone outperformed both the Pixel 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro to become the best smartphone camera.
Google will introduce the Pixel 8 series later in 2023. The Pixel 8 Pro will be the same size as the Pixel 7 Pro, while the vanilla model will be slightly smaller than the Pixel 7. The Pixel 8 series is expected to have specs that are very similar to those of the Pixel 7 series, with the exception of the brand-new Tensor G3 chipsets.
The Pixel 8a is supposed to come out in 2024, but depending on how well the Pixel 7a sells, that plan might be scrapped and the Pixel a series would come out every two years instead. When it finally launches, the Pixel 8a will cost $499, $50 more than its predecessor.
