Google Pixel Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 5 to be strong rivals
Foldable smartphones are our new normals and now according to rumors two new models will be strong rivals to one another.
Google has been working on their foldable smartphone for a while and now more reports start to show up. A new leak suggests that Google's device might bravely compete with Samsung's foldable phones.
Google Pixel Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 5 to be strong rivals
According to a recent report, Samsung supply chain sources claim that the Pixel Fold will begin mass production in the third quarter of this year, from July to September. The Pixel Fold, which is expected to begin production in July or August of this year, is said to have a tall OLED primary display of 7.57 inches and a smaller cover screen of 5.6 inches.
South Korean tech giant Samsung is by far the leader in foldable market until now, so Googe's rival idea is a bold move. Google may have to contend with a significant foldable phone release at the same time as its release schedule. In other words, this launch window may also have an impact on the Pixel Fold's sales. The specifics of this Pixel Fold are still unknown at this time, but it is likely to come pre-installed with Android 14L.
