Good news for Vivo users!
Like all smartphone users, Vivo users are eagerly awaiting news about the new interface version.
Vivo is gearing up to introduce its latest Android skin, Funtouch OS 14, built on Android 14, to the Indian market on October 7. This revelation came from Vivo's official Funtouch OS 14 Indian Twitter handle, which mentioned that starting from 12 p.m. IST, eligible Vivo and iQOO users will have the update rolled out to their devices.
Although Vivo remains tight-lipped regarding which devices will qualify for the update or the exact features and enhancements it will bring, they've assured users of a more seamless experience. This announcement follows last month's introduction of the Funtouch OS 14 preview program to the X90 Pro smartphone in September 2023. Vivo has given assurances that users will be alerted once the update becomes available for their respective devices.

While official details about the UI's new features are scant, some insights come from a Twitter user who showcased a few elements of Funtouch OS 14. Some enhancements to look forward to include a revamped control center resembling that of OPPO’s ColorOS, a novel weather widget, a refreshed Funtouch OS 14 logo, and a redesigned battery page.
On a related note, OnePlus has unveiled its OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2. Based on Android 14, this skin will be available for certain OnePlus handsets. This update heralds the introduction of the Trinity Engine, adept at multitasking, performing resource-intensive tasks, and ensuring smooth performance during extended usage. A noteworthy feature is the integration of the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)-based Device Security Engine 3.0, amplifying security. The timeline for the OxygenOS 14 rollout starts in October, with certain models slated for an update in November. Topping the list of devices to first receive a stable OxygenOS 14 update is the flagship OnePlus 11 5G.
