Foldable smartphones have gained some popularity in recent years, as they offer a unique form factor and advanced features. In respect, Vivo is reportedly preparing to release a new foldable smartphone called the Vivo X Flip. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications.
Vivo X Flip visits Geekbench, here's what to expect
According to Geekbench listing, The Vivo X Flip foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which has an octa-core processor and Adreno 730 GPU. The device is expected to come with 12 GB of memory and run on the Android 13 operating system.
The Geekbench benchmarking website shows that the Vivo X Flip scored 1682 in single-core tests and 4338 in multi-core tests, which is similar to other high-end smartphones that use the same processor, such as the Samsung Galaxy S23.
Previous reports suggest that the Vivo X Flip will have two screens, a primary foldable display and a secondary display on the back, as well as fast charging and a quad camera configuration with an under-display fingerprint reader.
While Vivo has not yet confirmed any details about the Vivo X Flip, more information may be revealed as the launch date approaches. The smartphone is expected to compete with the Motorola Razr 5G and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the flip phone market.
