Galaxy S24 series arrives with significant design alterations
Samsung, a giant in the smartphone industry, prepares to make major changes in its upcoming flagship series.
With the unveiling of Samsung's 2023 foldable smartphones, attention has now turned to the anticipated Galaxy S24 series, slated for a release in the first quarter of 2024. A recent leak by renowned tipster, Ice Universe, points to a substantial design overhaul for the upcoming Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus.
The current Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus models come with a flat back and a somewhat protruding middle frame. However, the leaked information suggests a departure from this style. It appears Samsung is set to embrace a design trend made popular by iPhones: flat edges. Consequently, the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are rumored to adopt this flattened edge design.
Galaxy S24 series arrives with significant design alterations
Interestingly, the leak doesn't provide insights into the design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This could imply that the S24 Ultra might deviate in its frame design from the S24 and S24+. Drawing parallels from previous models like the Galaxy S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra, it's plausible that the S24 Ultra could incorporate an edge panel design, setting it apart in terms of design aesthetics.
Additional whispers around the Galaxy S24 series suggest the availability of two chipset variants depending on the market: Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Further enhancements are also expected, including the incorporation of the advanced M13 OLED panel for superior visuals and support for two-way satellite communication.
