Unveiling itself through various model numbers, including the SM-A055F and SM-A055M, alongside their dual SIM counterparts, the device has recently embarked on multiple appearances on the Geekbench 6 platform. Although both chips are manufactured using a 12nm process, the G85 showcases a significant enhancement with its two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, accompanied by six A55 cores at 1.8GHz, in contrast to the Helio P35's eight Cortex-A53 cores. This configuration results in a twofold increase in single-threaded performance, elevating the efficacy of multi-threaded tests. Furthermore, the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU outshines the PowerVR GE8320 GPU, boasting over a twofold improvement in performance.
This specific iteration of the Galaxy A05 came outfitted with a respectable 4GB RAM, a commendable specification within its category, whereas its predecessor, the A04, offered variations with both 3GB and 4GB RAM. Notably, this RAM capacity proves ample to smoothly operate the full-featured Android OS (version 13 in this instance), without necessitating a downgrade to the Go Edition.
