The upcoming Find X7 series is optimized for high frame rates, particularly catering to gamers. This series is expected to elevate the gaming experience to a new level.
Today, Oppo made a significant announcement confirming its plans to host a Find X7 series conference on December 27 in China, where it will unveil its latest technological innovations. This much-anticipated event is set to introduce the new Find X7 lineup, which is expected to officially launch in the second week of January 2024. A recent buzz on Weibo, fueled by a circulated screenshot, suggests that the Find X7 series is specifically optimized to enhance gaming experiences, particularly for popular titles like "Honor of Kings."
The leaked screenshot compares the gaming capabilities of the ZTE Axon 50 Ultra 5G with the upcoming Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Pro models. These devices are reportedly fine-tuned to support ultra-high frame rate modes and extreme image quality settings, capable of reaching up to 120 frames per second. Such features indicate that the Find X7 series will offer gamers a smooth, responsive display, elevating the overall gaming experience.

Interestingly, recent reports indicate that Oppo may be moving away from the “Pro” moniker for the Find X7 series. It's rumored that the series will include the standard Find X7 and a more advanced Find X7 Ultra model. The Ultra variant is expected to stand out with a unique feature—support for two-way satellite communication, potentially being named the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version.
In terms of hardware, the Find X7 is likely to be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset, while the Ultra models may boast the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Both versions are expected to come with a robust 5,000mAh battery supported by 100W charging capabilities. The Ultra model might further impress with its 50W wireless charging feature.
Display-wise, the Find X7 is anticipated to have a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED screen, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely feature a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-808) primary sensor, a 50-megapixel (Samsung JN1 ultra-wide) lens, and a 64MP (OmniVision OV64B periscope 3x zoom) camera.
The Find X7 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to sport a slightly larger 6.82-inch curved-edge OLED screen with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its camera system may include a quad-camera array, with all sensors being 50-megapixel – a Sony LYT-900 main sensor, a Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide lens, a Sony IMX890 periscope (3x zoom), and a Sony IMX858 periscope (6x zoom).
