Features of the Redmi K60 Ultra got clarified
The specifications of the K60 Ultra model, developed by the Chinese technology company Redmi, have been clarified.
Earlier today, Redmi held an event in China where they shared insights about the forthcoming Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, also known as the Redmi K60 Ultra. This smartphone, which had already attracted attention through Geekbench benchmarking platform and various leaks, is set to launch later this month.
During the event, Redmi confirmed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ processor. In collaboration with MediaTek, the brand has fine-tuned the chipset to ensure optimal performance. In terms of benchmarking, the device scored an impressive 1,774,714 points in the AnTuTu test result, putting it in competition with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphones in the market.

In addition to its powerful processor, the Redmi K60 Ultra will come with the PixelWorks X7 independent display processor, designed to provide an enriched visual experience. It promises a 180Hz refresh rate at FHD+ resolution and 144Hz at WQHD+ resolution. This particular chipset has been used in phones like the OnePlus 11, Honor Magic5 Pro, and the Realme GT 2 Explorer Edition. Furthermore, the Redmi K60 Ultra will reportedly feature the Furious Engine 2.0, which is expected to be a dedicated performance mode that can harness the full potential of the SoC and the independent chip.
Apart from these details, Redmi has yet to reveal more specifics about the Redmi K60 Ultra, including its exact launch date. It is believed that several devices will launch in conjunction with the smartphone, such as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and Redmi Pad 2.
