The specifications of the Oppo A78 4G model, eagerly anticipated by smartphone users, keep coming into sharper focus.
Earlier this month, the Oppo A78 4G was officially launched in Indonesia. Speculation suggests that the device might make its way to the Indian market before the end of this month. Prior to its anticipated launch, the price range of the Oppo A78 4G has been tipped by a leaker.
According to Mukul Sharma, a known tipster, the Oppo A78 4G is set to make its Indian debut later this week. The device, which is primarily intended for the offline market, is expected to be priced between Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo A78 sports an AMOLED panel with a corner punch-hole, offering Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It includes an 8-megapixel front camera and a dual-camera setup at the back, comprising of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

The smartphone operates on Android 13 OS, overlaid with ColorOS 13.1. It's equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset.
There has been no mention of the RAM, storage capacity, or color variants for the Indian market. However, in Indonesia, the device is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. It comes in two colors: Black mist and Sea Green. The A78 has a thickness of 7.93mm and weighs 183 grams.
Additional features include up to 8 GB of virtual RAM, a microSD card slot, dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, NFC, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
