Following its launch in China in November 2022, the Oppo A58 5G is set to reach a wider audience, with the brand preparing to launch a 4G variant, the Oppo A58 4G, for the global market. This new device has garnered multiple certifications, including those from FCC, TUV Rheinland India’s BIS, Thailand’s NBTC, and now Malaysia’s SIRIM certification database, indicating its imminent release.

Although the SIRIM certification of the Oppo A58 4G, bearing the model number CPH2577, doesn't disclose any detailed specifications, it does confirm the device's future availability in Malaysia.

Past certifications have provided some insight into what the Oppo A58 4G has to offer. It is expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device's dimensions and weight have also been revealed - it will be 7.99mm thick and weigh 191 grams. Additionally, it will run on the Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 operating system right out of the box.

The 5G variant of the Oppo A58 offers some noteworthy features which could hint at what to expect from the 4G variant. It includes a 6.56-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, running on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

For photography enthusiasts, it features a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera is present for selfies and video calls. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and USB Type-C. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, dual stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Like the 4G variant, it is also powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast wired charging.
