Details about Xiaomi 13T have now leaked
Comprehensive details about the 13T series that Xiaomi has been focusing on are gradually surfacing.
Following the successful debut of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone in China, Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Xiaomi 13T series for global markets on September 26. Instead of a simple rebranding of the Redmi K60 Ultra, the company has opted for enhancements to cater to the global audience. The series will consist of the flagship Xiaomi 13T Pro and its more budget-friendly counterpart, the Xiaomi 13T.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will bear a strong resemblance to the Redmi K60 Ultra. A notable feature is its rectangular camera module on the back with three lens cutouts and an LED flash. The phone boasts a semi-curved back, ensuring a comfortable grip. Meanwhile, the flat frame enhances its sleek and ergonomic design. Potential materials for the outer frame include metal, though there's speculation about the use of plastic. Users will find the power and volume buttons on the right, while the SIM card slot resides at the bottom. The shiny back is evident in both the black and green versions. There's also a light blue variant that adopts vegan leather as its material. Dimensions for the black and green models are 162.2 x 75.7 x 8.49 mm with a weight of 197 g, whereas the vegan leather version measures 162.2 x 75.7 x 8.62 mm, weighing slightly less at 193 g.

Rumored features of the Xiaomi 13T include a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 446dpi. This display is expected to support a unique adaptive refresh rate of 144Hz, offering various modes from 30Hz to 144Hz. Brightness levels could reach up to 2600nits (HBM) and 500nits (typical). Reports also hint at HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support, paired with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Camera-wise, the primary sensor may feature a Leica 50MP wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and other impressive specifications. However, branding might differ depending on the region, with Europe possibly getting the Leica label while other regions might miss out on some specific Leica enhancements.
On the performance front, the Xiaomi 13T is rumored to house a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor built on a TSMC 4nm process. Memory configurations suggest 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. Powering the device might be a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, even though only a 67W charger has been seen in leaked unboxing videos. Connectivity is expected to be top-notch, featuring dual SIM card slots and running on Android 13. Potential features include USB-C connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The company also promises an impressive 5 years of software support with 4 major OS updates.
