Could the mysterious phone that surfaced be the Redmi Note 12T Pro?
A mysterious Redmi model seen in the Geekbench test brings to mind the Redmi Note 12T, whose name has been circulating for a long time.
Redmi introduced its Note 11T Pro smartphone to the Chinese market in May of the previous year, boasting a Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor. The device later made its debut in global markets under the name Redmi K50i. As for this year, there's been little talk about new additions to the Redmi T series. Yet, the silence has been broken with the sighting of the alleged Redmi Note 12T Pro on Geekbench, where some of its essential features, including the processor, have been disclosed.
A hitherto unidentified Xiaomi smartphone surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking site with the model number 23054RA19C, attributed to be the Redmi Note 12T Pro by Twitter user @ZionsAnvin, despite no official confirmation. According to the listing, this smartphone scored 1224 points on the single-core test and 3921 points on the multi-core test.
Could the mysterious phone that surfaced be the Redmi Note 12T Pro?
Further data extracted from the Geekbench listing implies that the Note 12T Pro will come with Android-13 pre-installed. Additionally, it is expected to house an octa-core processor, comprising four cores operating at 2.0 GHz, three at 3.0 GHz, and one at 3.10 GHz. The motherboard is denoted by the codename "Pearl," hinting that it could be powered by the Dimensity 8200-Ultra. Interestingly, this is the same processor found in the recently unveiled Xiaomi CIVI 3.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro is rumored to come equipped with a 12GB RAM and support for 67W fast charging. Detailed information about other features of the phone remains undisclosed. Nonetheless, in view of the Redmi Note 11T Pro's global release as the Redmi K50i, it is reasonable to anticipate that its successor may also venture outside of China, possibly as the Redmi K60i.
