The tech world has been abuzz with Nubia's latest addition to the Z50 series, the Nubia Z50S. With its official release set for Monday, October 23, the smartphone is expected to impress many with its state-of-the-art features.

The Nubia Z50S boasts a 6.67-inch flexible curved screen, providing a sharp display with a resolution of 2,400 × 1,080 pixels. To enhance the user experience, the screen also offers a rapid 144 Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring clear visibility under various lighting conditions.

Powering this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. To ensure smooth multitasking and performance, it's equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Users will have the flexibility to choose between 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring ample space for apps and personal files.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera setup on the Nubia Z50S. The rear features a 64 MP 35mm Sony IMX787 sensor, complemented by a 50-megapixel AF ultra-wide-angle macro two-in-one lens and a multi-channel spectral sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel front camera with facial recognition has been incorporated.

The connectivity suite is equally impressive with support for 5G, WiFi 6E, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3. Users won't have to constantly worry about charging, thanks to the 5000 mAh battery. Plus, with 80-watt wired fast charging, the phone can be fully charged in approximately 30 minutes. Notably, Nubia has retained the much-loved 3.5 mm audio jack and included a linear motor for improved haptic feedback.

As for its availability, in China, the phone will retail starting at 2,199 Yuan (~$306) for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
