Budget Redmi 12C surfaces online, launch seems imminent for Eastern Europe
The Redmi 12C has been spotted on the EEC certification website prior to its launch. This means that the smartphone will be available soon in Eastern Europe.
Redmi series of smartphones is generally considered to be budget-friendly or mid-range devices, offering good value for their price. They are manufactured by Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company, and are known for their affordability and decent specifications.
Now, a new budget offer from the company, called as Redmi 12C, spotted on EEC certification listing, which hints at imminent launch of the smartphone. The model number of the smartphone, 22120RN86G has been tracked on the EEC certification listing strongly suggesting that this device will be released in the Eastern European market in the near future.
Redmi 12C rumored specifications
According to our previous report, the upcoming Redmi 12C smartphone may come with a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels, 500 nits brightness, and a 20.6:9 aspect ratio. The device is speculated to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. It may be available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations.
Additionally, the Redmi 12C is rumored to have a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The phone is expected to be priced at EUR 149 for the base model, with the highest configuration costing up to EUR 199.
