The OPPO A18 has made its debut in this country as well, bringing its budget-friendly features to local consumers.
OPPO has introduced its latest A-series smartphone in the UAE market, known as the OPPO A18. Positioned as a budget-friendly option with entry-level specifications, it's worth noting that this smartphone shares almost identical specifications with the OPPO A38, which launched in multiple markets earlier this month.

The OPPO A18 sports a 6.56-inch display with a waterdrop notch design. It offers an HD+ resolution, 720 nits peak brightness, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The display is complemented by a noticeable chin at the bottom. On the rear, you'll find a pill-shaped camera module, and the power button serves a dual role as a fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, the OPPO A18 features dual rear cameras, consisting of an 8MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. For selfies, there's a 5MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and comes equipped with 4GB of RAM, along with 4GB of virtual RAM. It offers 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The device relies on a substantial 5,000mAh battery for its power needs. Software-wise, it runs on ColorOS 13.1, based on the Android 13 operating system, straight out of the box.
Connectivity options on the OPPO A18 include a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
While OPPO has yet to disclose the pricing details for the OPPO A18 in the UAE, the smartphone is listed on the official website in the country. It comes in two color options, Glowing Black and Glowing Blue, giving consumers some choice in terms of aesthetics.
