Behold, the Pixel 8 Pro in all its glory!
Google's eagerly anticipated new flagship model, the Pixel 8 Pro, finally made an appearance in a recent leak.
Recently, live images of the eagerly awaited Google Pixel 8 Pro surfaced on Reddit, offering a more detailed look at the device's design and shedding light on a few of its significant features. These pictures are said to be of a prototype, sourced directly from Google's device team for testing purposes, and they appear to confirm previous leaks and speculations about the device.
A noticeable modification in the design of the Pixel 8 Pro is the omission of the typical "G" logo, which was present on the previous Pixel models. Instead, an intriguing patterned design now adorns the device, adding a unique touch to it.

The leaked images show the back of the phone, revealing a compact, pill-shaped camera module that houses the device's three cameras. Along with the cameras, the module also includes a microphone, an LED flash, and an interesting new addition - an infrared (IR) thermometer sensor. This Far Infrared (FIR) thermometer is expected to provide temperature measurement capabilities, a feature that could be handy in various situations.
The bootloader screen of the Pixel 8 Pro unveils some fascinating details about the device. It discloses the codename "husky" and mentions a "recurrent" bootloader. The term "Zuma" written on the back refers to the Tensor G3 chip expected to drive the Pixel 8 Pro. This custom chip, developed by Google, is anticipated to boost the device's performance and efficiency.
In addition, the bootloader screen discloses that the device will be equipped with 12GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of SK Hynix storage. The device's camera configuration is reportedly going to include a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto lens capable of 5x zoom. It is expected that Google will launch the Pixel 8 series later this year, most likely in October.
