Bad news for iPhone 8 and iPhone X holders
Apple has introduced their iOS 17 yesterday at WWDC 2023. As usual some models will not receive it. Let's take a look.
Apple has held WWDC event yesterday. As usual tech giant has announced some exciting news as well as new updates. iOS 17 was one of these new and exciting things that offers many good features. Live Voicemail and much more are offered with the new update and as usual some old iPhone holders will not be able to get the update.
Several older iPhone models, including the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus models this year, are not supported, as is the case with new iOS versions.
iPhone 8 and iPhone X holders will not receive the new iOS 17
When we switch to iPadOS 17, we can see that Apple is discontinuing support for the iPad Pro models of the first generation as well as the fifth-generation iPad, which debuted in 2017.
iOS 17 will offer many exciting features as well as the new design. StandBy display for quick info while you’re charging, and the Check In feature especially stand out. Gesture-based reactions with AR effects in FaceTime will require an iPhone 12 or newer. Tech giant's event has gotten everyone hyped up about upcoming iPhone 15 launch as well.
