Asus, in its ongoing endeavors to expand its presence in the smartphone market, introduced the Zenfone 10 today, a compact yet formidable device that has garnered significant attention due to its remarkable features. Asus Zenfone 10 specifications
The Asus Zenfone 10 features a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. With a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, accompanied by the Adreno 740 GPU. The smartphone is available in different RAM configurations, ranging from 8GB to 16GB, and offers storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB.
On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera, while the back of the device houses a dual-camera setup. This setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Notably, the primary camera supports recording videos in 8K resolution at 24fps.
The Asus Zenfone 10 is powered by a 4,300mAh battery, which supports 30W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It operates on the Android 13 operating system and features a fingerprint reader for added security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.
Asus Zenfone 10 pricing and availability
Asus officially launched the Zenfone 10 in Europe on June 29, 2023, with plans to release it in non-European countries later this year, including the United States. The European pricing starts at €799 ($876) for the 8GB/128GB model, similar to the Zenfone 9's launch price. It is speculated that the Zenfone 10 might have a similar introductory price of $699 in the US, but until Asus confirms it, it remains speculative.
Other variants include an 8GB/256GB model for €849 ($931) and a high-end version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for €929 (~$1,018). Similar price increases are expected for the US variants, with rumored prices of $749 and $829 for the 8GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB models, respectively. Official pricing details from Asus are awaited for US market.
The Asus Zenfone 10 will be offered in five color options, including Midnight Black, Starry Blue, Aurora Green, Eclipse Red (featured in this article), and Comet White. Asus has mentioned that not all colors will be available in every region, but customers in the United States can expect all five colors to be available when the device becomes accessible in the country.
