Apple iPhone 15 series rumors keep coming
Prior rumors recommended that the iPhone 15 Expert and Ace Max models would both component periscope focal points, yet Ming-Chi Kuo has said that only Max model will have it. A reputable Twitter user named @URedditor also stated that the periscope camera would only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apple has also partnered with LG Innotek and Jahwa Electronics to source 70% and 30% of the OIS actuators for the periscope module, respectively, according to sources. We should remind you that these are all just rumors right now and we do not have official statements.
The improved telephoto camera intends to replace the iPhone 14 Pro Max's 3x optical zoom lens and may offer up to 6x optical zoom. Despite still being behind the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's 10x optical zoom, this would be a significant upgrade.
