Apple will slap Samsung in the face: Here is Optical Zoom on iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple has decided to add optical zoom support for their iPhone 15 series. The tech giant will surpass its rivals. Here are all the details.
iPhone 14 series has been in our lives for nearly six months. With the Dynamic Island design the series has been liked by many and basically has the best series crown in the market. While Apple has the best camera right now rivals have rolled up their sleeves to compete with the brand. Xiaomi 13 Ultra has brought the best camera while other tech giants have added optical zoom.
As a result Apple decided to add optical zoom support for their iPhone 15 Pro Max. 5 to 6x optical zoom is expected to be available on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Apple to have optical zoom for iPhone 15 series
Samsung presents to 100x zoom with both advanced and optical zoom, while Apple presented 3x optical zoom with the iPhone 14 Ace series. This number rises to 15x when the new digital is added. iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a "periscope lens" that will enable up to double the optical zoom.
The fact that Apple will use a periscope lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max models is not surprising. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, had previously made similar assertions and stated that the feature would only be available on Pro models. This kind of lens can zoom out by 5 to 6 times. Consequently, when using the rear camera to capture an object from a distance, quality will not be compromised.
