As unveiled by the new reports of TrendForce, Apple could soon surpass Samsung to lead the global smartphone market in the Q4 2022. In recent months, the global smartphone market has struggled as a result of stagnant demand and numerous economic downturns. With 289 million units shipped in the third quarter of 2022, the global smartphone market saw a 0.9% decline from the previous quarter.

With its market share increasing from 17.6% in Q3 to 24.6% in Q4, Apple is anticipated to experience significant growth. The increased demand for the iPhone 14 series accounts for the majority of this expansion. The TrendForce also predicted that Apple will be number one in the global smartphone market.

On the other hand, Samsung's shipments increased by only 3.9% compared to the previous quarter, and the company is anticipated to experience further declines as a result of ongoing inventory pressure, low demand, and a shortage of semiconductors.
