Apple to launch $99 AirPods Lite along with second-gen AirPods Max, Kuo alleges
Famous analyst Kuo claims that Apple is working on AirPods Max along with cheap AirPods Lite. The launch date has been also unveiled.
As alleged by famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, AirPods Lite and AirPods Max are on the works. The AirPods Lite is expected to compete at budget earbuds market whereas AirPods Max will tackle upper-level. He also states that these earbuds might be released in Q2 2024 or Q1 2025.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable Apple insider, spread the rumor earlier this week via a series of tweets on his profile. He asserts that either the second half of 2024 or the first half of 2025 will see the start of the next significant shipment of new AirPods.
A brand-new, less expensive pair of earbuds will be included in that shipment. According to Kuo, Apple is aiming for a retail price of $99, which would be significantly less expensive than the AirPods alternatives currently available. Apple's currently most affordable AirPods model is available for $129.
Moreover, we might see another AirPods. This could be called as second-gen AirPods Max. In Kuo's Twitter post, a new AirPods Max model is also a possibility. He did not disclose any information other than a possible shipping schedule as we mentioned above.
